Yamaha Motor Company
Motorsport has been an essential part of Yamaha Motor’s culture since its founding, with just 10 days passing between the company’s establishment and one of its products seeing competition for the first time, at the third Mount Fuji Ascent Race on July 10, 1955.

In the years since, the brand has claimed a total of 245 wins and 14 championship victories in top-level motorcycle racing, establishing itself as a benchmark for technological development and engineering excellence.

As technical partner, Yamaha works closely alongside the other stakeholders in the development of the highly efficient 350 kW electric powertrain used in the team’s Formula E racecar. Yamaha aims to leverage its expertise to accelerate the research and development of various technologies that contribute to sustainability, including advanced energy.
